Senior Circle of Care

Logo for the Senior Circle of Care Program, the Adult Resource Alliance program that screens seniors to determine their need level and refer them to appropriate services in Billings.

The Senior Circle of Care (SCC) Goal:

Develop a caring partnership with the participant to increase their ability to continue to live their best life at home.

The Uniqueness of the SCC program

Our model offers an in-home needs screening conducted by a Community Health Worker (CHW). Based upon the outcome the participant may be offered an Occupational Therapy screening.

The OT Screening Tool assesses the participant’s ADL, IADL, functional mobility status, and cognitive status.

The Role of the Community Health Worker

With the help of our team of professionals, when warranted, a CHW comes to the home and evaluates the safety of the living environment. The CHW assists the willing participant in identifying their unique needs, which may include a mix of referrals to both professional and volunteer-driven services.
